We understand that your NDIS plan is a sensitive document, however by attaching a copy of your NDIS plan which includes your plan dates, all 3 budget support areas (including Capital Budget - Assistive Technology) and goals, we can provide the most suitable supports and ensure that we are working within the funding available to you.

1 - Be Under 65 years of age (at time of admission to the NDIS)

2 - Have a permanent disability

3 - Need support for the rest of the applicants life

Yes, you most certainly can.

If you don't have Assistive Technology already included in your NDIS plan you may require an assessment by one of our Podiatrists who can give a recommendation report to have it included on your next plan.

If you've already got "Assistive Technology" on your NDIS Plan and your Podiatrist has recommended Orthotics for your needs then funding can been used from this part of your plan.

Yes, you certainly can.

If your Podiatrist (After Initial Assessment) believes you will require accommodative or custom shoes they will include it in the recommendation and you will be able to use funding from "Assistive Technology" available to you.

If you don't have "Assistive Technology" on your NDIS plan you will require an assessment by one of our Podiatrists who can write a recommendation report to have it added to your next NDIS plan.

When maintaining general foot and ankle health a Podiatrist can regularly visit the NDIS client for things such as:

  • General foot care such as nail and skin care
  • Treatment and management of a wide range of skin conditions, including callus and corn removal, fungal infections, cracked heels, tinea pedis, psoriasis and more
  • Treatment and management of injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, including foot and ankle pain, related knee and hip complications
  • Management of foot deformities such as bunions, hammer toes, claw toes, flat feet, high arches, wide feet and more
  • Wound care management
  • Diabetic foot care, including diabetic foot assessments and interval check ups
  • Surgical treatments such as ingrown toenail surgery and wart removal
